Dicho

Cada día un poco de práctica (Every day a little practice):

1) dicho = refrán (saying/proverb)
2) dicho = frase/expresión (phrase/expression)
3) dicho [participio del verbo decir] (said, past participle from 'decir' (to say))
4) dicho = el mencionado (the aforementioned)

Ejemplos:

1) Él me contó dichos muy antiguos.
(He told me very old sayings).

2) Juan tiene dichos muy divertidos.
(John has very funny phrases).

3) Lo he dicho muchas veces.
(I've said it many times).

4) Dicho estudiante no podrá asistir a la graduación.
(The aforementioned student will be unable to attend the graduation).
