Ejemplos:
¿Dónde está el baño? = Where is the bathroom?
(Preguntando en un lugar donde hay un solo baño = Asking in a place where there is only one bathroom)

¿Dónde hay un baño? = Where is a bathroom?
(Preguntando en un lugar donde hay varios baños, por ejemplo, un centro comercial = Asking in a place where there are several bathrooms, for example, a shopping center/mall)

En estas situaciones, generalmente no usamos el artículo indefinido después del verbo ‘estar’. Nunca usamos el artículo definido después de ‘hay’.
(In these situations, we usually do not use the indefinite article after the verb 'estar'. We never use the definite article after 'hay'.)
