Devuélveme la llamada

Cada día un poco de práctica (Every day a little practice):

Devuélveme la llamada = llámame = call me back

Ejemplo:
A: [Voz grabada]: En este momento no me encuentro en casa. Por favor deje su mensaje.
B: Hola. Es Antonio. Encontré algo que te puede interesar, pero antes de comprarlo quiero preguntarte. Devuélveme la llamada.

A: [recorded voice]: Right now I am not at home. Please leave a message.
B: Hello. It’s Antonio. I found something that might interest you, but I want to ask you before buying. Call me back.

Mucha gente en Cuba y Puerto Rico (y por tanto en Florida y Nueva York) dice “llama pa’ tras” (llama para atrás) queriendo decir “devuélveme la llamada”. "Llámame para atrás” es la traducción literal de “call me back”. En la mayoría de los países hispanohablantes esto se interpretaría como “llámame al teléfono que está en el cuarto de atrás”.

Many people in Cuba and Puerto Rico (and therefore in Florida and New York) say “llama pa’ tras” (llama para atrás) meaning "give me a call." "Llámame para atrás” is the literal translation of "call me back." In most Spanish-speaking countries this would be interpreted as "call me on the phone that is in the back room."
