rebelar - revelar

rebelar = oponer resistencia (se usa más como verbo reflexivo)
(to rebel = to offer resistance (it is used more as a reflexive verb)

Ejemplo:

Los estudiantes se rebelaron contra el precio de la matrícula.
(Students rebelled against the price of tuition.)

revelar = 1) descubrir algo. 2) En fotografía: Hacer visible la imagen impresa en la película.
(to reveal = 1) to discover something.
to develop = 2) In photography: To make visible the image printed on the film.)

Ejemplos:

1) Lo hemos revelado. Ya no es un secreto lo que había en la caja fuerte.
(We have revealed/disclosed it. It is not longer a secret what was in the safe.)

2) Con las cámaras digitales no hay muchas películas que revelar.
(With digital cameras there are not many films to develop.)
