January 6th is the day to eat the kings' cake. It is similar to the king's cake, except that in this case the kings are the three wise men and not the king of Carnival, it is celebrated on January 6th and not on Mardi Gras, and the kings' cake recipe has lots of candied dried fruits. Both rolls, which are bread and not cake, have nuts and a small figurine hidden inside.
