frío – helado - congelado

frío = cold
helado = iced
congelado = frozen

Ejemplos:

- Cuando hace mucho frío, la superficie de los puentes se puede helar = When it is very cold, the surface of bridges can become icy
- En este caliente verano, es bueno tomar un té helado = In this hot summer, it's good to drink an iced tea
- En lugar de tener esas paletas de helado de colores artificiales, puedes obtener sandía congelada colocando trozos de esta fruta en el congelador = Instead of having those popsicles with artificial colors, you can get frozen watermelon placing chunks of this fruit in the freezer
