Subjuntivo después de "pero", "como" y "aunque"

En el pasado hemos visto ejemplos del uso del subjuntivo después de las conjunciones “cuando” y “que”. Veamos ahora otros casos después de “pero”, “como”, y “aunque”. (In the past we have seen examples of the use of the subjunctive after the conjunctions "cuando" and "que". Now let's see other cases after “pero”, “como”, and “aunque”.)

Pero
Ejemplos:
Sin subjuntivo: ¿Ya te vas? ¿Pero no esperas a que esté la comida? (esperas) = Are you leaving? But, don’t you wait for meal to be ready?
Con subjuntivo: Pero no esperes que encontrarás algo cuando vuelvas (esperes) = But do not expect to find something when you return

Como
Ejemplos:
Sin subjuntivo: Como no alcanza la tela, tenemos que comprar más (alcanza) = Since the fabric is not enough, we have to buy more
Con subjuntivo: Como no alcance con esto, lo dejaré sin cubrir (alcance) = If it is not enough with this, I’ll leave it uncovered

Aunque
Ejemplos:
Sin subjuntivo: Aunque puedes hacerlo allí en esa mesa (puedes) = Although you can make it there at that table
Con subjuntivo: Aunque puedas hacerlo, mejor lo compramos (puedas) = Even if you can make it, we’d better buy it
