Mañana = tomorrow
La mañana = morning
Tarde = late
La tarde = afternoon
Ejemplos:
Mañana por la mañana = Tomorrow morning
Es tarde por la tarde = It's late in the afternoon

En /Por /De /Al /A

En el día hay más clientes que en la noche = During the day there are more customers than at night
Por el día hay más clientes que por la noche = During the day there are more customers than at night
De día hay más clientes que de noche = During the day there are more customers than at night
En la mañana = por la mañana = de mañana = in the morning
Al mediodía = at noon
En la tarde = por la tarde = de tarde = in the afternoon
Al atardecer = al anochecer = at dusk = at sunset
En la noche = por la noche = de noche = in the evening or at night
A medianoche = at midnight
madrugada: tiempo después de la medianoche y antes del amanecer (time after midnight and before sunrise)
En la madrugada = por la madrugada = de madrugada
