de más, demás , además

de más = in excess /left /leftover
Ejemplo:
¿Quieres ir al juego? Tengo una entrada de más = Do you want to go to the game? I have a ticket in excess

de más de = of more than /over
Ejemplo:
La población estudiantil de esta universidad es de más de 10.000 = The student population of this university is of more than 10,000

la/los/las + demás + sustantivo = the rest of the /the other + noun
Ejemplo:
Lleva esa lámpara primero. Llevaremos las demás cosas después. = Take that lamp first. We will take the rest of the things later.

Lo demás = anything else
Ejemplo:
Médico: En este momento lo más importante es su salud. Lo demás puede esperar. = Physician: At this moment what is most important is your health. Anything else can wait.

Los /las demás = the rest of us/you/them
Ejemplo:
Cuando ella subió al escenario, los demás nos quedamos sorprendidos = When she took the stage, the rest of us were amazed

(Serie) + y demás = (Series) + and other
Ejemplos:
Martillos, alicates, destornilladores y demás herramientas se encuentran en aquella sección = Hammers, pliers, screwdrivers, and other tools are (located) in that section

además = besides
Ejemplo:
No me gusta esta camisa. Además, no es mi talla. = I don't like this shirt. Besides, it's not my size.

además = furthermore /in addition
Ejemplo:
No podemos despachar 50 toneladas. Además, no tenemos tanta mercancía. = We cannot dispatch 50 tons. Furthermore, we do not have so much merchandise.
