Cada día un poco de práctica (Every day a little practice):

¿A qué hora comienzas y a qué hora terminas de trabajar?
(What time do you start and what time do you finish working?)

Desde qué hora hasta qué hora trabajas?

Calentito – calientito

Cada día un poco de práctica (Every day a little practice):

Calentito – calientito

Ejemplo: Voy a tomar una taza de té calentito/calientito con galletas (I'll take a cup of cozy hot tea with cookies)

(‘Calentito/calientito’ is the diminutive of ‘caliente’. In Spain, Argentina and Uruguay they say ‘calentito’. In Mexico and Central America they say ‘calientito’. In the Caribbean they say ‘calientito’ or ‘calientico’. In other South American countries they say any of these ways with preference to 'calientito'.

What is the right way? Let’s see the conjugation of verb ‘calentar’ in present tense. Yo caliento, tú calientas, él/ella calienta, nosotros calentamos, vosotros calentáis, ellos/ellas calientan.

We can see that when the verbal form has a diphthong the stress tone is on the syllable with a diphthong (-lien, -táis). Similarly, in the adjectives 'caliente' and 'ardiente' (verb arder) the stress tone is on the syllable with a diphthong.

In the diminutive 'calientito' the stress tone is not on the syllable with a diphthong but rather in the syllable -ti. Therefore, this word does not follow the rule. Thus, it appears that the correct word is "calentito.")
